First Children's Finance (FCF) seeks a Business Development Specialist to work remotely from Iowa, regional travel required. The role provides training, consultation, and financial planning to childcare providers, promoting FCF programs and partnerships.

The position emphasizes consulting, training, and data analysis to improve financial sustainability and service delivery for early care providers. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in financial management and a hands-on consulting background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least four years in financial management, planning, or training.
• Experience in consulting, training, lending, or financial analysis.
• Experience working with small businesses.
• Strategic thinker with strong implementation ability.
• Energetic, organized, self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Familiar with state childcare licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops, promotes, and implements programs and resources to support the mission of FCF.
• Provides training and consultation to childcare businesses to improve operations.
• Assists startup and financially distressed childcare businesses.
• Analyzes financial and program data and provides input.
• Supports program reporting as assigned.
• Facilitates community engagement activities and events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
