Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of non-profit experience directing staff and partnering with volunteers.
• Distinguished track record of volunteer stewardship and high-impact partnerships.
• Proficiency in applying sales and relationship-building techniques to a non-profit setting.
• Ability to relate and translate the Foundation’s mission into effective, sustained relationships and successful projects.
• Experience managing revenue generation activities including events and major gifts solicitation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Arthritis Foundation lead staff in assigned markets to build empowered communities, deliver outreach and increase awareness.
• Develops annual and long-term plans with volunteers and staff for revenue generation, events, mission outreach and awareness.
• Implement and execute the annual plan including planning events, raising funds, soliciting sponsors and coordinating outreach.
• Recruit volunteers for leadership roles; grow a diverse, engaged volunteer pipeline.
• Cultivate and advance relationships with major donors, corporate partners, healthcare providers and other constituents.
• Create a culture of philanthropy by building Leadership Boards and committees and managing market performance.
