Job summary

First Citizens Bank seeks a Manager Regional Commercial Real Estate Underwriting to lead a Commercial Underwriting team. This is a remote role and can be hired in NC, FL, or SC.

You will oversee people, processes, and credit initiatives, drive talent development, monitor performance, and partner with senior leadership on risk and portfolio optimization to support lending decisions. Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in Commercial Lending or Credit Analysis, or high school diploma with 12+ years in the same.
• Experience supervising and developing others.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team that underwrites, Structures, and services commercial credit actions.
• Evaluates and optimizes processes to meet objectives and performance targets.
• Monitors performance metrics and mentors staff to support associate development.
• Develops strong lending relationships with Bank leadership, peers, and lenders.
