Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Regional Banking CRE Portfolio Manager in Houston, TX, to lead credit decisions and portfolio risk for commercial real estate lending. You will collaborate with Regional Presidents, Relationship Managers, and Credit Officers to shape strategy and ensure portfolio health.

You will review credit requests, perform annual risk ratings, and participate in portfolio reviews, with a focus on sound risk management and business growth across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in CRE portfolio management and/or credit experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and financial analysis tools such as Moody's Credit Lens.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to executives and credit officers on complex CRE lending opportunities.
• Review and assess credit requests with analysis and recommendations.
• Partner with relationship management to conduct portfolio reviews and identify risks.
• Participate in portfolio review discussions with key stakeholders.
• Perform annual credit reviews and assign risk ratings.
• Contribute to strategic discussions and special regional projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
