Job summary

Elon University is seeking a Regional Assistant Director of Admissions to lead undergraduate recruitment for Texas, with territory management extending to Oklahoma and Louisiana. The role emphasizes building strong school partnerships, presenting university information, and traveling extensively to yield cohorts of applicants.

The ideal candidate resides within 30 miles of Dallas, Austin, or Houston metro areas and will support campus visit programs and regional events throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and two years’ regional admissions experience; three to five years preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to cover territory and visit campus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to high schools, college fairs and events; 7–9 weeks in fall, 3–5 weeks in spring.
• Develop recruitment strategies and manage assigned territory.
• Review first-year applications and participate in admissions decisions.
• Build relationships with counselors, families and schools to yield students.
• Conduct virtual and on-campus information sessions and tours.
