Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is seeking a Regional Account Manager to join the Toxicology Business Unit, supporting government, criminal justice, and treatment markets. This US remote field-based role covers the Northwestern & Midwestern regions, with up to 50% travel and candidates based in a metropolitan city with airport access.

You will actively pursue new sales opportunities, set up meetings, assess needs, prepare quotes, and coordinate contracts with the contracts team, while staying current

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 7+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Hunter mindset and self-motivation in a senior sales role.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing key accounts.
• Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling and lead generation.
• Set up meetings to present products and services.
• Assess prospect and customer needs.
• Prepare quotes and proposals.
• Coordinate contracts with the contracts team.
• Support new account implementation and travel as needed.
• Stay informed on industry trends to suggest product improvements.
• Attend trade shows and client visits.
