Job summary

VIPCARE is seeking a Referral Coordinator to facilitate timely patient referrals, coordinate scheduling, and maintain accurate records across multiple VIPcare clinics in Florida and remote settings.

You will verify demographics, insurance, and authorization requirements while communicating clearly with patients and healthcare providers to ensure a seamless referral experience and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of administrative, scheduling, customer service, or related experience.
• Experience with Google Workspace and EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process inbound and/or outbound patient referrals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review provider orders for outbound referrals and assist with scheduling across VIPcare clinics.
• Coordinate inbound referrals by collecting required information and scheduling within the specialty practice.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; confirm referral requirements and authorization needs.
• Communicate referral instructions and appointment details to patients and providers.
