Community College of Vermont seeks an innovative, flexible Reference and Teaching Resources Librarian to support CCV students and faculty, partnering with VSCS librarians and the Chancellor’s office. The role emphasizes open educational resources, eReserves, and library-licensed databases.

The librarian will provide online services, develop content, and lead information literacy instruction, while collaborating across campuses to enhance online learning and research skills in Canvas and other

Qualifications

Provides reference services to faculty and students and supports information literacy education.
Develops online resources, guides, tutorials, and Canvas-integrated content.
Collaborates with other librarians and campus stakeholders on e-resources and outreach.
Promotes open educational resources and affordable instructional materials.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and delivery of information literacy education and outreach.
Provide online reference and instruction for remote students and faculty.
Create digital learning objects and video tutorials for Canvas integration.
Develop and maintain policies for virtual reference and instruction with VSCS directors.
Maintain LibGuides content and other Springshare products for online guides.
Collaborate on future e-reserves initiatives and textbook alternatives.
Serve on system-wide library committees and liaison to curricular committees.
Support course development with faculty and other stakeholders.
