Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Reston, VA seeks a Reality Capture Specialist to support Remote Field Services, manage field data capture and visualization workflows on active projects.

You will operate and maintain capture hardware, coordinate with survey and controls, and help advance digital delivery and BIM processes in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in construction, field engineering support, survey support, BIM coordination, construction technology, digital delivery, or reality capture workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly reality capture walks per the project capture plan.
• Perform ad hoc scans, photo captures, and field data collection for reviews and verification.
• Operate and maintain reality capture hardware (360-degree cameras, LiDAR devices, scanners, tablets).
• Manage data uploads, naming conventions, metadata, and access for visualisation and project records.
• Support configuration and administration of reality capture and visualization software.
