Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee and optimize a diverse real estate portfolio. The role requires high autonomy, strong financial acumen, and deep knowledge of property operations and investment principles.

You will drive portfolio growth and profitability from a home-based setup. Responsibilities include strategic portfolio planning, performance monitoring, and remote collaboration with property managers and leasing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in real estate portfolio/asset/property management.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• Remote work capability with self-motivation and discipline.
• Experience with diverse property types is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for the real estate portfolio to achieve financial and operational goals.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance metrics (occupancy, rental income, operating expenses, ROI).
• Oversee property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
• Manage tenant relationships, lease negotiations, and renewals to maintain occupancy.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Identify and evaluate acquisitions and dispositions to optimize the portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
• Liaise with property managers, leasing agents, and service providers remotely.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management regarding portfolio strategy and investment decisions.
