Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) seeks a Real Estate Representative in Mankato to handle state real estate acquisitions, relocations, and property management. You will support right‑of‑way activities to ensure project delivery and perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include two years in real estate with experience in appraisals, title investigations, negotiations, relocations, or property management, plus a valid Minnesota driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in the real estate field that includes real estate appraisals, processing direct purchases, field titles, and relocations, to include two or more of the following:
• Real estate appraisals
• real estate title investigations
• purchase negotiations
• real estate relocations, and/or
• property management relating to leases and/or permits.

Responsibilities

• This position will act as an agent in real estate acquisitions, relocations, and the management of state-owned real estate. They will perform special right of way activities to ensure program delivery and property management and other duties as assigned.
• Manage state-owned real estate including acquisitions and relocations.
• Perform special right of way activities to support program delivery.
