Job summary

Teague Campbell Dennis & Gorham seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to support our NC workers' compensation attorneys. You will help manage claims, file documents, and coordinate with NCIC proceedings.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of experience, knowledge of NCIC rules, strong writing and organizational skills, and familiarity with NetDocuments. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with some remote work as the team transitions to a new Charlotte office.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of workers’ compensation experience.
• Knowledge of NCIC rules, forms, and e-filing.
• Organizes legal documents for court proceedings.
• Effective communication with court personnel.
• Schedules and updates attorney calendars.
• Polished written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with NetDocuments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and case management support to Workers’ Compensation attorneys.
• Navigate NCIC filings and procedures on claims.
• Assist with scheduling and updating attorney calendars.
• File and organize documents for court proceedings.
