Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to lead design teams on land development projects, manage budgets and schedules, and apply engineering expertise across site plans, hydrology, and stormwater design. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients and municipalities to deliver compliant project solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree and PE license, with 4+ years in land development and strong AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraulics, and Hydrology skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 4+ years of experience in land development.
• Experience with reports (soil, storm water, FEMA, wetlands, leases, easements, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Direct the project team and provide technical training and support.
• Recommend design changes such as grading and utility sizing.
• Prepare project proposals with clients.
• Draft and review site plans, computations, and reports for project direction and compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and support training programs.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to deliver assignments on time.
