Job summary
Amgen in United States is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer – Automation-DeltaV to lead automation across the new drug substance plant. You will guide a team of automation engineers, shaping process control strategies and integrating equipment and utilities with DeltaV DCS.
The role involves collaborating with SMEs, driving lifecycle management, and supporting validation activities in a fast-paced GMP environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of Engineering experience.
- Experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS and automation platforms.
- Knowledge of GAMPs and GMPs, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Experience in Capital Project Lifecycle Management.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the DeltaV DCS process control system.
- Collaborate with SMEs to translate requirements into automated solutions.
- Support commissioning, qualification, and IV/ACO activities.
- Lead day-to-day operational support including 24x7 on-site presence.
- Drive Change Controls, CAPAs and Deviations; support NPIs and new tech deployments.
- Prepare SOPs and cGMP documentation; ensure data integrity and system validation.
