Job summary

Coldspring in Minnesota is seeking a Project Coordinator to support customer service, manage projects, and prepare quick estimates for granite fabrication jobs from start to finish.

You will coordinate drawings, schedules, and shipments while collaborating with sales, drafting, and production teams. Remote-capable, travel required, with comprehensive benefits and a clear pay grade range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Construction Management or Drafting with 3+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years tenure with Coldspring or equivalent in construction.
• Experience managing large-scale projects (≥$3M).

Responsibilities

• Identify and eliminate potential safety hazards in area.
• Support continuous improvement programs and company policies.
• Assist Drafting Manager in coordination of construction drawings.
• Main point of contact for customers after order is placed.
• Coordinate project meetings and record/publish minutes.
• Coordinate production of granite materials for architectural projects.
• Coordinate shop drawings and shop tickets for architectural projects.
• Maintain accurate shipping and fabrication dates for materials.
• Work with sales to provide project status updates and technical advice.
• Coordinate approval of all purchased and subcontracted items.
• Assemble and maintain schedule of values with accounting.
• Advise financial services on invoicing values throughout project timeline.
• Complete travel expense reports.
• Attend weekly production meetings for scheduling material fabrication.
• Review job cost reports in JD Edwards; take corrective actions.
• Manage and deliver expected profit margins on projects.
• Perform site visits and attend jobsite meetings as a Coldspring representative.
• Generate material pricing take-offs for change orders.
• Provide timely follow-up with customers on approvals and schedule.
• Coordinate weekly shipping and freight bookings.
