Job summary

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for either a Project Engineer II or Senior Engineer to join the Environmental Dredging and Restoration Group in support of our Maryland Port Administration projects, including Dredged Material Containment Facilities, large scale ecosystem restoration programs, and Dredged Material Innovative and Beneficial Reuse initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Geotechnical, Electrical or other generally recognized field of engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer Certification or a Master’s Degree in an Engineering or Management discipline may be substituted for two years of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the planning, design and delivery of complex construction projects from concept through construction phases.
• Lead engineering, design, and construction management of projects involving stormwater management, dredging, environmental mitigation, and remediation.
