Job summary

Maryland Environmental Service seeks a Construction Inspector to support the Environmental Dredging and Restoration Division, inspecting dredging and earth-moving projects across Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City facilities. You will document activities, monitor erosion controls, and assist with project records and coordination with engineers.

Responsibilities include site inspections, potential on-site sample testing, and responding to client queries after supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard High School or GED is required for all levels.
• Ability to operate PCs and use word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Effective oral and written communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection services and maintain site activity records.
• Conduct erosion and sediment control inspections and assist with sample collection as needed.
• Support Engineers and Construction Managers with project documentation and contractor coordination.
