• Minimum 1 year of outside sales experience.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of sales process and dynamics.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Office.
• Experience reporting into a CRM daily.
• Self-starter, problem-solver, goal-oriented and a team player.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• The ability to work from home on occasion (laptop provided).
• Excellent Follow through skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new flooring business opportunities through our production and Design Studio with builders in the residential building trade community.
• Pursue bids with existing accounts and targets using a hunter approach.
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in the territory.
• Prepare detailed bid packages while working with vendors to secure pricing supports and upgrade options.
• Identify industry trends and maintain product knowledge.
• Resolve customer challenges by coordinating with internal departments and providing solutions.
• Submit daily call reports, weekly plans, and territory analyses to management.
• Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing and products.
• Customize sales presentations for builders/remodelers.
• Recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on market feedback.
• Advocate for the buyer to improve the experience.
• Collaborate with Design Team to support the design studio's selection process.
