BY YOUR SIDE Autism Therapy Services in Oak Brook, IL is seeking an Occupational Therapist to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop therapy plans, and conduct both individual and group sessions addressing motor, sensory, and functional skills.

The role requires state licensure, CPI/CPR certifications, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• State licensed Occupational Therapist.
• CPI training certification (on-site training available).
• CPR/First Aid certification (on-site training available).
• Knowledge of discipline-specific assessment tools and procedures.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and deliver therapy independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Excellent time management with multitasking and deadline focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations for new clients.
• Create and maintain comprehensive therapy plans for each client.
• Provide individual and group therapy focusing on motor, sensory, feeding, and social skills.
• Educate caregivers on in-home strategies to generalize skills.
• Collaborate in team-based therapy planning and implementation.
• Maintain Illinois license, NBCOT certification, and CE requirements.
• Adhere to AOTA and ILOTA guidelines and HIPAA compliance.
• Supervise COTAs/OTAs and interns as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
