Job summary

Thrive Community Lending is seeking a Loan & TA Specialist to oversee technical assistance for borrowers, deliver individual and group TA sessions, and coordinate loan underwriting and portfolio management. The role requires travel up to 25% and a 4-year degree.

The position focuses on providing targeted TA, refining borrower creditworthiness, and supporting loan outcomes while collaborating with the Exec. Director and Loan Committee as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
• Small business lending experience preferred.
• Experience with diverse populations encouraged.
• Strong financial statement interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide TA to prospective and current borrowers to enhance capacity and success.
• Promote loan services and products to maintain a healthy borrower pipeline.
• Gather data to assess loan applications and borrower creditworthiness.
• Prepare loan packets for underwriting review and board consideration.
• Coordinate with Exec. Director and Loan Committee on loan approvals and closing.
• Maintain borrower data in loan portfolio platforms and ensure accurate records.
