Job summary

AG&E Associates is seeking a Construction Administration Engineer to support construction-phase activities on structural projects across the United States. This role conducts onsite observations and site visits under the engineer-of-record, preparing reports and helping resolve field issues.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has about five years of construction experience, and can work independently while coordinating with project teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Minimum 5 years of construction-related experience.
• Experience with site observations for structural systems (steel, cast-in-place concrete).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and resolving disputes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite observations of construction activities under the engineer-of-record.
• Perform site visits to evaluate existing conditions across multiple project types.
• Prepare site observation reports with observations and recommendations.
• Assist in developing solutions to address construction-related issues.
• Track and verify implementation of corrective actions in the field.
• Assist in evaluating change order requests with project engineers.
• Support QA/QC through review of design documents and specifications.
• Facilitate resolution of field issues and disputes between contractors and engineers.
