Job summary
Valitana is seeking a Software Engineer to build client-facing solutions on the Vantage platform in Plano. You will work with product, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, production-ready implementations, including data integrations and reporting.
You will own end-to-end delivery for new client onboardings and support the Client Services team on day-to-day requests while contributing to platform enhancements and ensuring quality through
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience delivering solutions to external clients is a plus.
- Excellent communication and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver client-facing solutions on Vantage for external clients.
- Develop and maintain third-party data integrations and parsers.
- Configure client-facing reports and workflows within Vantage.
- Configure and support FIX Gateway connectivity for client trade flow.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues and implement durable fixes.
- Contribute feature enhancements to core Vantage for all clients.
- Serve as a technical resource to the Client Services team and reduce escalations.
- Document integrations, configurations, and resolutions for onboarding knowledge reuse.
