Job summary

IB Abel, a 110-year veteran in utility services, is seeking an Associate Project Manager to assist Project Managers through the full project life cycle. The role suits detail-oriented team players who want to grow into project management within a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and/or work experience in contractor industry; Project Management Certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications with strong Excel, Word, and MS Project skills.
• Local to Pennsylvania with regular travel to other offices, customer facilities, jobsites and yard locations; flex to work from home when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate project setup, needs, and field labor to ensure timely, profitable completion.
• Aid with project correspondences and information for stakeholders.
• Support day-to-day customer interactions and assist PM in problem resolution.
• Visit project sites as directed by the PM to review problems, monitor progress, ensure compliance.
• Monitor schedule with PM and adjust activities to meet milestones.
