Job summary

IB Abel’s is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Transmission and Distribution utility construction projects from start to finish. You will plan, schedule, and budget while maintaining safety and quality for client specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to coordinate with owners, engineers and subcontractors across multiple sites. This hybrid role requires PA residency with travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, MS Project).
• Local to Pennsylvania with regular travel to multiple offices and sites.
• Strong collaboration skills and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality and project management: review documents, schedule outages, coordinate materials and on-site tooling, develop safety plans.
• Customer relations: service clients respectfully, resolve issues, schedule final walk-down and punch list completion.
• Internal/external communication: pre-construction planning, meetings, site visits, progress reporting, and cross-team coordination.
• Financial management: track costs, prepare change orders, and reconcile project charges with accounting.
