Cognizant is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to build and ship high-quality cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS. You’ll own features from development through production, collaborating with design, QA, and backend teams to deliver polished user experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong React Native focus.
• Experience building apps for Android and iOS across platforms.
• Knowledge of software design patterns such as MVC, Delegation, Singleton, Factory and Adapter.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Own the full app lifecycle from development to production release.
• Write clean, maintainable client-side code following best practices.
• Apply proven design patterns to build scalable apps.
• Use JavaScript build tools to manage builds, dependencies, and releases.
• Collaborate with design, QA, and backend teams to translate requirements into features.
• Troubleshoot and improve app performance on Android and iOS.
