Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to build and ship high-quality cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS. You’ll own features from development through production, collaborating with design, QA, and backend teams for reliable user experiences.

The role is remote with eligibility for Cognizant’s annual incentive program. Strong candidates in the U.S. will be considered, with a focus on delivering scalable, well-architected mobile solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with React Native.
• Experience building apps for Android and iOS.
• Strong knowledge of mobile development principles and end-to-end lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Own the full app lifecycle, from development and testing through release to production.
• Write clean, maintainable client-side code following industry best practices.
• Apply proven software design patterns to build scalable, well-structured applications.
• Use JavaScript development and build tools to manage builds, dependencies, and releases.
• Collaborate with design, QA, and backend teams to translate requirements into working features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve app performance on Android and iOS.
