Job summary

Pomelo Care is building a nationwide network of registered dietitians to deliver synchronous virtual nutrition visits for midlife and menopausal patients. This 1099 contractor role offers flexibility to set your schedule while providing billing and administrative support.

Dietitians conduct video visits, deliver individualized care, and participate in a multistep credentialing process. Compensation is per visit, with earnings around $60–$70 per active visit hour, and no minimum visit guarantees.

Qualifications

• National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or RD/Nutritionist (RDN) with license to practice in Indiana.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• At least 3 years of evidence-based nutrition therapy experience for metabolic syndrome, weight loss/body composition, osteoporosis, gut health, and plant-forward/anti-inflammatory diets.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to facilitate lifestyle change and wellbeing.
• Work within a multi-week program format to support symptom improvement and sustained behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo.
• Meet with recruitment/clinical teams for preliminary video calls, provide licensure and liability proof, enroll with health plans, and complete background screening.
