Job summary

Paradigm Oral Surgery is seeking an RCM Specialist I to handle front-end and mid-cycle revenue cycle tasks with emphasis on eligibility verification, insurance processing, and patient service. The role supports dental and medical payers and requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication with internal teams and patients.

The position is remote, with standard M-F hours, reporting to the RCM team.

Qualifications

• Dental/medical revenue cycle workflows understanding.
• Experience with insurance verification, claim submission, and follow-up.
• Familiarity with payer guidelines and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients using payer portals or by phone.
• Enter and update insurance information in the practice management system.
• Submit claims (electronic, paper, or portal) per payer requirements and timelines.
• Review and resubmit rejected claims as needed.
• Respond to patient and office inquiries regarding billing and balances.
• Document verification results and interactions clearly.
• Escalate issues to RCM leadership as needed.
• Support KPI tracking like net collection rate and Days in AR.
