Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Billing Representative (RCM Billing) to join our national remote team. This entry-level to intermediate role focuses on accurate and timely invoice creation and claim submission for home infusion services.

You'll support billing processes, review tickets, resolve payer rejections, and maintain compliance with billing guidelines while working a full-time schedule Monday–Friday 7:00am–7:00pm CST, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma OR GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of medical billing, collections, OR accounts receivable experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat OR Nitro Pro Platforms.
• Ability to work full time Monday - Friday with 8-hour shifts within 7:00am - 7:00pm CST; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review open delivery tickets and prioritize daily billing activities.
• Generate and submit accurate invoices and claims in a timely manner.
• Process secondary insurance and copay assistance claims after primary adjudication.
• Identify billing discrepancies and elevate trends to leadership.
• Complete account correction requests within SLAs.
• Resolve payer rejections for clean claim resolution.
• Adhere to payer, regulatory, and internal billing guidelines.
• Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate alignment with organizational mission and culture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
