Job summary

Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical is seeking experienced UltraCare Liaisons to represent the company in the Rare Disease Community, promoting Dojolvi and related therapies across a defined geography. Candidates should be business-minded with strong communication skills and a track record of sales success.

Territory includes Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri with remote work flexibility. Travel 50-60% is anticipated based on geography and business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
8 years with 5+ years in healthcare/biotech, including 3 years of field-based experience in account management, sales, and/or field reimbursement.
Experience launching biopharma/pharma products preferred.
Documented track record of field sales success.
Approximately 50-60% travel is required; overnight travel as needed.
Must live in territory geography: Illinois, Kansas and Missouri.

Responsibilities

Serve as territory business owner with focus on impact and territory analysis.
Develop and nurture relationships with HCPs, Registered Dietitians, Genetic Counselors, Pharmacists, and support staff.
Build effective stakeholder alignment and drive decisions across multiple parties.
Develop and maintain a strategic territory business plan focused on academic centers and community targets.
Determine and implement travel schedule and call plan for key accounts.
Execute programs, in-services, and educational opportunities.
Complete compliance trainings, product and disease state trainings, Veeva administration, and expense reports on time.
