Job summary

Cando Rail & Terminals is seeking a Project Engineer - Infrastructure Development to oversee the planning and execution of multiple capital projects for internal and external clients across North America.

The role reports to the General Manager of Infrastructure Development and involves safety, budgets, schedules, design, permitting, procurement, and commissioning to deliver rail infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or higher).
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in railway/oil & gas/transload industries.
• Experience in engineering design, contractor management, construction oversight, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end planning and execution of multiple capital projects.
• Coordinate and manage projects from initial design through construction.
• Lead planning and coordination meetings and provide on-site supervision as necessary.
• Oversee procurement, contracting, and progress reporting for infrastructure projects.
