Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding.
• Experience in health information management field.

Responsibilities

• Lead education teams and topics for internal coding consistencies and training.
• Audit coded records and provide input for performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Quality Service and Finance to optimize reimbursement.
• Review abstracts of clinical data in EPIC and ensure accurate data entry for charges.
• Answer coder questions and address problems, providing solutions.
