Job summary

VA Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System is seeking a Radiologist to provide image interpretation and patient care within Diagnostic Radiology, with subspecialty expertise as needed. The role supports QA, safety, education, and clinical operations for the Imaging Service in a national remote capacity.

Position offers Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) eligibility, sign-on possibilities, and comprehensive federal benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full, unrestricted US license to practice medicine or surgery.
• Residency in Radiology with board eligibility or certification.

Responsibilities

• Interpret imaging exams and provide reports with findings and impressions.
• Oversee quality assurance, protocols, and safety in imaging practice.
• Educate staff, technologists, and trainees; participate in QA and performance improvement.
