The VA Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System in Harlingen, TX seeks a Radiologist specializing in Diagnostic Radiology with subspecialty expertise to provide image interpretation and patient care. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) and supports quality assurance, teaching, and clinical operations within the Imaging Service.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with competitive compensation and benefits.

Formación

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred experience: mammography interpretations.
• MQSA eligible or certified.
• Capable of cross sectional imaging interpretations.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement within the Imaging Service.
• Interpret imaging exams and generate reports with findings and impressions.
• Prescribe exam protocols and adjust for clinical indications.
• Provide oversight of safety, MRI safety, and infection control practices.
• Educate staff, trainees, and participate in teaching programs.
