Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. seeks telephonic interpreters for Quechua to join its network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will handle on-demand calls and facilitate LEP communication across diverse settings.

Candidates must be fluent in English and Quechua, be tech-savvy with web-based platforms, email, and Word, and provide a quiet, secure interpreting space. Prior interpreting experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Quechua.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI,Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.)

As a telephonic interpreter for Quechua in LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you are responsible for handling telephone calls on demand and facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings.
