Job summary

Flexera is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to develop and maintain automated testing for our IT Asset Management solution. You will help design and implement a robust testing framework, ensuring reliability and high quality across our software products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement automated test scripts using NUnit, MSTest, or equivalent, and work within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 3+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Proficient in automated test script design using Selenium, NUnit, TestNG.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Go, Python.
• Strong cloud computing knowledge, preferably AWS; experience with Terraform, VPC.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication; able to document test plans, cases and defects effectively.
• Experience with Git and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive test plans for automation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts ensuring coverage across features.
• Configure testing environments and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prioritize automated test cases based on risk and impact.
• Work with developers to integrate tests into the build process and provide feedback.
• Investigate failures and identify root causes with the team.
• Perform manual testing for scenarios that cannot be automated.
• Document defects and participate in code reviews to improve quality.
