Job summary

Flexjet LLC is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to analyze applications and design automated tests ensuring performance and reliability. You will develop, execute, and document test plans and scripts, and support non-QA resources in user acceptance testing.

The role involves designing tests across unit to system levels, leveraging Postman, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Appium, while thriving in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Understanding of test cases and negative, positive and regression testing.
• Experience with automation testing for REST APIs and UI.
• Experience with writing automation tests using Postman, Playwright, SpecFlow, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, etc.
• Knowledge of deployments and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, design, and implement test automation frameworks for CI/CD.
• Create and design testing approaches (Unit, Functional, Integration, System, User).
• Develop automation tests by analyzing stories, criteria, designing initial tests, writing scripts, and reporting results.
• Develop a repeatable process for designing, developing, and executing scripts.
• Run tests, document results, and present findings to development teams.
• Prepare reports on software testing aspects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with engineers and stakeholders.
