Job summary

Flexjet is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and implement automated tests that validate application performance and reliability. You will develop, execute, and document test plans and scripts while collaborating with developers and non-QA stakeholders.

This role involves maintaining automation frameworks, supporting CI/CD, and participating in Agile ceremonies to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Understanding software engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with REST API and UI automation testing.
• Proficient in automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD deployments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, design, and implement test automation frameworks for a continuous integration and execution model.
• Create and design the testing approach (Unit, Functional, Integration, System, User).
• Create automation tests by analyzing user stories, acceptance criteria, creating initial test designs, writing scripts, installing the automation testing tools, and reporting results.
• Develop a repeatable process for designing, developing, and executing scripts.
• Conduct tests, document, and analyze test results, and present findings to development teams.
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to software testing.
• Participating in project meetings including Agile/Scrum grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate within an agile software development process with software engineers, subject matter experts and stakeholders.
