Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packages for accuracy and compliance. The role ensures version control, conducts TL 9000 metric support, and tracks CoPQ while reporting to the Services Quality Leader.

This position is 100% remote. Ideal candidates have about 5 years in telecom QA, strong Excel/SharePoint skills, and experience with ERP/MRP or PLM/PDM for document control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• About 5 years of telecom industry QA/installation experience.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices; interpret requirements.
• Proficient in Excel and SharePoint for data analysis and tracking CoQ.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to document audit evidence.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM, or document control systems.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and adherence to standards; document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build docs, ECNs/changes, deviations) for compliance.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) metrics and support corrective actions to reduce costs.
• Initiate corrective actions with Engineering, Quality, PM, and Operations to prevent recurrence.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting; prepare audit checklists and evidence.
• Communicate recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention and confidentiality rules.
