Job summary

The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) seeks a rigorous Senior Manager to be the qualitative expert behind our campus consulting work. You will collect and code interview, focus group, and survey data and translate it into actionable findings for university partners.

This hands-on role leads data collection across a portfolio of engagements, codes data against CDI's frameworks, drafts reports and client-facing narratives, and builds institutional case studies with the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied qualitative research experience or graduate fieldwork with interviews and focus groups.
• Codebook discipline with multi-coder QA experience a plus.
• Clear analytic writing separating what participants said from inferences and integrating survey results.

Responsibilities

• Collect and code interview, focus group, and open-ended survey data across campus engagements.
• Lead liaison with the Research team and contribute to codeframe updates.
• Coordinate data collection logistics with campus partners, sequencing fieldwork around the academic calendar.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify themes and findings that inform engagement recommendations.
• Own engagement deliverables: reports, memos, presentations, client-facing narratives.
• Present findings and recommendations to external stakeholders.
• Build qualitative case studies and institutional spotlights with the team.
• Advise colleagues on measuring organizational culture and conditions for dialogue.
