Job summary

Carhartt, Inc. is seeking a Quality Management System Lead in a remote-capable role based from Dearborn, MI.

The role will develop and implement a scalable QMS framework spanning global sourcing, including finished goods vendors and raw material suppliers, and lead the transformation of quality processes into an integrated system with data-driven decisions. The role partners with Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain Operations, Customer Care and Distribution to standardize quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 3+ years supporting a Quality function in a global apparel brand.
• Experience with quality systems and tools including ANSI AQL auditing and textile testing.
• Ability to develop and deliver training on tools and systems.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and project delivery.
• Excellent written and oral communication with leadership and partners.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scalable QMS framework across Carhartt’s global sourcing network.
• Coordinate phased QMS implementation including pilots and measures of project health.
• Provide regular updates to Quality management and cross-functional leadership.
• Develop SOPs and manuals with emphasis on automation and AI.
• Define and implement performance metrics and dashboards for supplier performance and quality.
• Create training materials for Quality Management tools and processes.
• Support supplier quality programs with processes, tools and training for external suppliers.
• Introduce risk-based programs, preventive methods, and continuous improvement across the department.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings on Quality state, measures and risks.
