Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer at our Charlotte, NC location to support on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems.

This remote-capable role focuses on delivering high-quality field service solutions. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and seven years of progressive experience in engineering, plus hands-on expertise with Honeywell and ABB scanners, schematics, P&IDs, VMware and Cisco networking.

Qualifications

Seven years of post-baccalaureate experience in engineering or related field.
Five years troubleshooting/maintaining Honeywell Sheet Manufacturing Scanners.
Three years troubleshooting/maintaining ABB Sheet Manufacturing Scanners.
Producing and reading electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs.
VMware Virtualization and Cisco Networking.
System software installation and configuration.
Application software configuration.

Responsibilities

Provide technical presentations to customers, peers, and competitors.
Promote revision and correction of work instructions and training guides.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in field services and product development.
Promote cross-functional collaboration to fix delivery and installation issues.
Act as escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and stakeholders.
