Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer to support on-site installation, servicing, and repair processes at Charlotte, NC.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, customer-facing presentations, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and at least seven years of progressive experience, with expertise in Honeywell/ABB scanners, networking, and systems installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Honeywell and ABB Sheet Manufacturing Scanners.
• Ability to produce/read electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Experience with VMware virtualization and Cisco networking.
• Experience with system and application software installation and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical presentations to customers and industry peers.
• Update work instructions and customer-facing training guides for field installation.
• Drive continuous improvement in field service and product development processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional groups to resolve delivery and installation issues.
• Act as escalation point for Field Service Specialists and Service Engineers.
