O3 Story Technologies, Inc. is seeking a QA Lead with a strong technical art background to own testing for Ozone for Maya, Ozone for Unreal, and our Unreal subdivision plugin.

This senior, hands-on role partners with engineering, product, and QA to build test strategies, run suites, and drive quality from planning through release. You will build a realistic test asset library, write clear test cases, and guide automation handoffs.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years in technical art, rigging, or pipeline TD with QA ownership.
• Deep Maya rigging, skinning, deformers, and Unreal production experience.
• Test suite design, plan creation, coverage strategy, regression management.
• Strong Python, capable of reading code and writing test harnesses.
• Understanding of animation pipeline from DCC to engine, with skin/deform considerations.
• Experience working with automation engineers on test cases for automation.

Responsabilités

• Own QA for Ozone for Maya, Ozone for Unreal, and Unreal plugin from test planning to release.
• Write functional, regression, performance tests and edge-case suites.
• Create precise test cases for automation handoff with clear starting states and expected results.
• Build and maintain a test asset library of rigs and scenes across DCC/app versions.
• Run manual tests when visuals or behavior require human inspection and document findings.
• Collaborate early with engineering and product to ensure testable features and risk awareness.
• Triage defects, manage the bug queue, and report coverage and regression trends.
• Develop performance tests and profiling strategies for real-time contexts.
