Job summary

OXIO is seeking a QA Tester to own the engineering QA function, performing manual reviews, onboarding new tools, and acting as release manager. You’ll write test plans from feature requirements, develop test cases, and work across Product Management and Software Engineering to ensure quality prior to release.

The role involves creating and executing test cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying established QA practices in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software quality assurance experience.
• Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases for software products
• Identify and report defects in software products
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand software requirements and designs
• Design and develop automated tests for software products
• Review and provide feedback on software design specifications and documentation
• Ensure that software products comply with international quality standards and regulations
• Perform manual and automated testing of software products
• Provide clear and concise reports on software quality to stakeholders
