Irvine Technology Corporation is seeking a QA Lead to drive data testing across a large data engineering initiative. The role blends hands-on SQL and data pipeline validation with leadership of a small QA team and expanding automation.

The candidate will validate data across Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake, while helping establish testing practices and cross-system reconciliation in a Cloud-first stack. Remote work offered with ET hours.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA experience with data warehouse, ETL/ELT, data quality, or back-end data testing, including leadership/mentoring.
• Advanced SQL skills to write complex queries and test cases for data validation and reconciliation.
• Strong Snowflake experience and testing on Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on QA for data engineering and analytics, focusing on back-end data testing and data quality.
• Write and execute SQL-based test cases; perform source-to-target reconciliation.
• Validate data across Snowflake,Databricks,Azure components; identify data quality issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Help establish a new QA workstream; contribute to testing strategy and automation.
• Mentor junior QA, review test cases and Jira tickets; represent QA in Agile ceremonies and go-live activities.
