Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Engineer/SDET for a remote W2 contract focusing on scalable QA systems and CI/CD-integrated automated testing. The role emphasizes AI-driven test-script generation, security validation, and cloud-native Java service testing in AWS/OpenShift environments.

The ideal candidate will diagnose root causes, collaborate with developers in Agile teams, and support evidence generation for ATO while working on federal security standards.

Formación

• Test automation at scale with standards, methods, and QA systems.
• CI/CD-integrated automated testing using tools such as GitLab, Tekton, or Argo CD.
• AI-assisted testing for coding, requirements, test creation, debugging, and analysis.
• Hands-on with Playwright, JUnit/TestNG, REST and contract testing, and performance testing.
• Container and Kubernetes test harnesses across Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Security and compliance testing, including SAST/DAST/SCA/IaC scanning and policy-as-code.

Responsabilidades

• Perform software testing across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security domains.
• Develop test plans and create automated test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead AI-driven test-script generation and maintenance using modern AI tooling.
• Debug software issues, analyze failures, and determine root causes.
• Execute feature testing for cloud-native Java services on ECS, EKS, and OpenShift.
• Validate environments across Dev, Test, and Ops and manage lab setups.
• Integrate security and compliance testing, including SAST, DAST, and control validation.
• Collaborate directly with developers within Agile teams.
• Support continuous monitoring and evidence generation for ATO.
