Talentify is seeking a QA Analyst/Engineer for a remote contract position supporting a federal client. The role is 6 months with a strong emphasis on front-end and back-end testing, collaborating with a large DevOps and development team.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and available to work East Coast hours. The project involves agile ceremonies, defect tracking, and ongoing manual/auto testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required for federal work.
• Solid experience testing web-based applications (front-end and back-end).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in remote settings.
• Availability to work East Coast time zone hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for full stack web apps.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to ensure software quality throughout the cycle.
• Perform manual and/or automated testing as appropriate for the project.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Communicate effectively with team members across East Coast hours.
