Job summary

Truelogic is seeking a Quality Engineer focused on ad experiences to join our remote QA team supporting our client, a global news organization. You will own end-to-end quality for ad experiences across native mobile apps and design automated test plans for ad placements, rendering efficiency, and tracking reliability.

You'll collaborate with Android and iOS QA engineers, drive CI/CD integration, inspect network traffic, and triage defects to ensure reliable ad delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/Quality Engineering for mobile apps.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar.
• Experience testing ad rendering/placements and inspecting network traffic for validation.
• Experience writing test plans and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI tools for test automation; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own Ad Quality: Lead and own the overall quality end-to-end for ad experiences across native mobile applications.
• Develop Test Plans: Design comprehensive test strategies and automated test plans for ad placements, rendering performance, and tracking reliability.
• Automation & CI/CD: Build, maintain, and execute automated mobile test suites within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
• Validate Analytics: Inspect mobile network traffic to validate ad requests, responses, analytics, and tracking events.
• Collaborate & Bridge Gaps: Partner closely with existing Android and iOS QA engineers to cover testing gaps and streamline quality coverage.
• Defect Management: Report, triage, track, and follow up on ad-related defects through resolution alongside the core app engineering team.
