Job summary

Tactibit Technologies LLC. is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Software Tester to join our team remotely. You will collaborate with developers to plan, execute, and report tests for applications deployed in an AWS cloud environment.

A deep understanding of software requirements and experience testing against specified objectives are essential. The role involves executing tests, identifying and documenting bugs, analyzing requirements, and supporting security testing to meet compliance and

Qualifications

5+ years of software testing/QA experience.
Familiarity with Agile software development principles and practices.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking (Jira).
Ability to troubleshoot, document, and explain errors.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Must pass full background investigation and obtain security badge.

Responsibilities

Execute automated and manual test cases against applications deployed in an AWS cloud environment and analyze results
Log and document bugs and test failures in the tracking system
Review and analyze software requirements and design specifications
Evaluate product code against specifications
Assist with troubleshooting issues
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Support security testing, hardening, and assessments to meet strict compliance and operational security requirements
